HEALTHY GROWING PROJECT
We have partnered with local ogranisations and volunteers to develop, sustain and maintain our Edible Food Forest project this consists of four locations accross south wales where we grow, nurture and produce fresh food for our pantries and communities.

Ty Pen Y Bont
Community garden in the center of Bridgend working together with V2C to create an inclusive space

2 Large allotment pitches where we produce some amazing fresh fruit and veg ready for our pantries

Small planters that are growing a selection of fresh veg to supply our Lewistown pantry

Slection of small raised beds used to produce fresh veg for the Maesteg Community
Postcode Lottery Funded

We have want to say a huge thank you to the People’s Postcode Lottery for funding this project, We aim to create a greener, more affordable solution to the food crisis and provide our communities with fresh, healthy food and encourage healthy eating across south wales. With the funding we have received from The People’s Postcode Lottery has enabled us to develop our growing sites across the South Wales Valleys and created employment for the management of the project. We are excited to see our crops in full production and are already moving out to our pantries.
